About Albuterol
Albuterol comes in liquid and aerosol form. You use a nebulizer with the liquid form to turn it into a mist that you can inhale. The aerosol comes in an inhaler.

Doctors often prescribe inhalation albuterol to be used every four to six hours as needed. Albuterol may be used about 15 to 30 minutes before exercise. The nebulizer albuterol is usually used three or four times a day.

If your inhaler comes with an attached counter to track the number of sprays used, order a prescription refill when the counter reads 020. Do not use it anymore when the number reaches 000.

If your inhaler does not come with an attached counter to track the number of sprays, keep track of the number of inhalations of albuterol you use.

Follow your doctor's instructions on how to use the albuterol inhaler or nebulizer.

If you miss a dose of albuterol, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose of albuterol, skip the missed dose and take your next dose of albuterol at the regularly scheduled time.

It is suggested that you store albuterol at room temperature and keep albuterol away from heat and direct light.
