Elements of your daily lifestyle may have an effect on the medications you are taking. Drug interactions can result in unwanted side effects, reduce the effectiveness of your medicine or possibly increase the action of a particular medicine.

Tyramine-containing foods and Aphrodyne 5.4mg Tablet(Yohimbine Hydrochloride)

Some experts recommend dietary restrictions when Yohimbine is taken on a regular basis. Certain food interactions with Yohimbine may cause increased blood pressure or other effects, especially if high doses of Yohimbine are taken daily. Beverages and foods containing caffeine should be used sparingly such as tea, coffee, chocolate, cola, or "stay awake" products. Other foods to limit include alcoholic beverages like beer; wine; sherry; and liqueurs. Also try to limit the following foods in the diet: aged cheeses; soy sauce; fava bean or broad bean pods; smoked or pickled meats, poultry; or fish (lox, herring, smoked salmon); fermented sausages (bologna, pepperoni, salami, summer sausage); bananas; avocados; and any over-ripe fruit.

Pregnancy & Lactation Information

For example, the drug may be acceptable if needed in a life-threatening situation or serious disease for which safer drugs cannot be used or are ineffective.
