Alcohol and Belsomra 5mg Tablet(Suvorexant)
Alcohol and CNS Depressants(Suvorexant)
Avoid alcohol-containing drinks while taking this medicine. Using this drug along with alcohol can lead to serious side effects. You may feel drowsy or more tired when taking these drugs together. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this drug affects you, and especially if you are drinking alcohol-containing beverages. If you notice slurred speech, confusion, severe weakness, or difficulty breathing, contact your health care provider immediately.

Grapefruit juice and Belsomra 5mg Tablet(Suvorexant)
Grapefruit juice and Suvorexant(Suvorexant)
Inform your doctor if you regularly drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruit. Side effects from Suvorexant may get worse if you regularly drink grapefruit juice, such as slurred speech, confusion, excess drowsiness, severe weakness, or difficulty breathing. Your doctor may need to adjust the dose of your Suvorexant. Do not drive or operate machinery within 8 hours of taking Suvorexant.
