Benzodiazepines include drugs for anxiety or sleep, such as Ativan, Dalmane, Doral, Halcion, Klonopin, Librium, ProSom, Restoril, Serax, Tranxene, Valium, and Xanax. Caffeine may increase nervousness or sleeplessness. If you are taking a Benzodiazepine to help you sleep, avoid taking Caffeine and Caffeine-containing foods or beverages like colas, coffee, teas, or chocolates within several hours prior to bedtime.
