What is this Medicine?

CHOLINE SALICYLATE; MAGNESIUM SALICYLATE (KOE leen sa LI si late; mag NEE zhum sa LI si late) is an anti-inflammatory pain reliever related to aspirin. It is used to reduce swelling and to treat mild to moderate pain. It is used to treat arthritis in children and adults. This medicine may also be used for fever.

Bone Pain, Tendinitis, Dysmenorrhea, Bursitis, Myalgia, Arthralgia, Dental Pain, Headache

Alcohol and Salicylates(Choline Salicylate)
Side effects from this drug may get worse if you drink alcohol-containing drinks. If you have persistent stomach upset, vomit blood or what looks like coffee grounds, or have black, tarry stools, contact your health care provider immediately. Avoid alcohol containing drinks while taking aspirin. Alcohol intake should be limited even with short term use of aspirin or related pain relievers.

Ethanol can decrease the actions of Magnesium Salts, by increasing its elimination from the body. To get the best results, limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking Magnesium Salts or supplements.
Pregnancy & Lactation Information
FIRST Trimester

Class C - Animal studies have shown an adverse effect and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. OR No animal studies have been conducted and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women.

SECOND Trimester

THIRD Trimester

Caution - Not enough information is available to rule out harm to infants when this drug is taken by nursing mothers.
