Overview Information on Cialis
Pharmacist Tip
Store Cialis at room temperature, away from excess heat, light, or moisture.
Cialis® is the brand name of the medicine tadalafil, which is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. ED is a condition in which a man is unable to get or maintain an erection. Cialis is in a class of medicines called phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors.

Doctors also prescribe Cialis to treat symptoms related to an enlarged prostate, which is a medical condition called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Men who have enlarged prostates may have problems urinating and emptying their bladders. When men have both ED and BPH, Cialis can be taken to treat both conditions.
