Concerta may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how Concerta affects your body.     
Concerta® is a stimulant used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and attention deficit disorder (ADD) for children 6 years or older, and in adults up to age 65. Concerta can increase your ability to pay attention and stay focused, as well as decrease the impulsiveness and hyperactivity that you may have with ADHD.

Concerta is the brand name for methylphenidate. Concerta comes in an extended-release tablet. Never chew, crush, or divide Concerta tablets. If you or your child has trouble swallowing Concerta tablets whole with water or other liquids, tell your doctor so that they can prescribe a different medicine for you or your child. Store Concerta at room temperature. You can take Concerta with or without food.
