No problems here
I started taking this drug in combination with another strong antibiotic and have had no problems whatsoever. They are fairly large but I just cut them in half. Makes it easier. I have taken them for three months and my original symptoms or gone. When I finish this months refill, hopefully I be done with them.

Works...stick to dietary restrictions though
I get fairly frequent UTI's and this is one of the meds given to me which works within hours of taking it. The other is the brand name Bactrim. For those experiencing nausea, if your pharmacist has not told you, you should avoid dairy immediately before & after taking this as the combination causes nausea..even a few teaspoons of dairy will do it. Also told to eat yogurt (at least a few hours after taking meds) to balance out the good antibodies that are being attacked by the meds..or take probiotics.

Did not tollerate
Came down with the Flu the Friday before christmas. Dr. called in medication and was only on it for two days when I came down with a severe case of oral thrush Dr office said to discontinue and pharmasist adviced this is the outcome sometimes using these strong antibiotics. Not fun and still having problems with my mouth over 3 months later. Dr and Denstist don't see signs of oral thrush anymore. So I'm on my way to Ear Nose Throat Dr tomorrow.Be careful and remember to take Acidophilus to counter the killing of good bacteria by these drugs. Both of my sisters cannot use without issues of thrush either.

Nausea throughout and Diarrhea on last day
I generally felt bad while taking this medication for an infection. It made be nauseated and on the last day, I had diarrhea I normally can take any medication without these symptoms, but this must be a particularly stringent medication.
