About Cymbalta
Cymbalta comes as a delayed-release capsule. Your doctor may start you on a low dose of Cymbalta and later increase the dose of Cymbalta. You may take Cymbalta for a week to a month or longer before noticing that you feel better.

If you miss a dose of Cymbalta, take it as soon as possible, unless it is time for your next dose of Cymbalta. In this case, skip the missed dose of Cymbalta and take your regular dose as scheduled.

Do not stop taking Cymbalta unless your doctor has told you to. If you suddenly stop taking Cymbalta, you may experience some serious side effects or your condition could worsen.
