Calcium-containing foods and Estramustine Phosphate Sodium(Estramustine Phosphate Sodium)
Estramustine is best taken on an empty stomach, with water only. Calcium-containing foods, like dairy products (example: milk, ice cream), may decrease the effectiveness of Estramustine by decreasing the drugs absorption from the stomach. Take Estramustine 1 hour before or 2 hours after you take food or meals to avoid an interaction.

Grapefruit juice and Estrogens(Estramustine Phosphate Sodium)
Grapefruit juice and grapefruit-containing foods may increase the side effects of estrogen in some females, such as nausea, breast tenderness, headache or fluid retention. There may be no interaction. Do not significantly change your grapefruit intake while taking estrogens for hormone replacement therapy or as part of hormonal birth control products. Report any unusual side effects, like unusual non-menstrual vaginal bleeding, promptly for evaluation.
