What is this Medicine?

EPHEDRINE (e FED rin) injection is used to treat low blood pressure in patients who received certain types of anesthesia, underwent a specific type of surgery, or received an overdose of a drug that can lower blood pressure. It is also sometimes used to treat symptoms of asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or other lung disease.

Caffeine-containing Foods/Beverages and Ephedrine(Ephedrine Sulfate)
Limit excessive Caffeine intake (examples: coffee, teas, colas, chocolate and some herbal supplements) while taking Ephedrine and avoid medicines containing additional Caffeine whenever possible. Taking a high amount of Caffeine with Ephedrine can increase the risk of nausea, nervousness, palpitations, problems with sleep, rapid heartbeat, or other side effects.

FIRST Trimester
