Works as intended
Take it with breakfast. Start out with 1 tablespoon and work up to 4 tablespoons. It will give you lots of gas, and pungent, noisy farts which are sometimes hard to control. You'll get a very strong urge to defecate that comes in increasingly insistent, powerful urges until you are forced to have a noisy, gassy, soft bowel movement. It works every day. The effect never wears off and you can take it effectively for decades. There are no age limitations.

Works okay
Lactulose is easy to take, being a liquid. The hardest part about taking it is that it tastes a lot like corn syrup,Karo. The lids are hard to take off when I first open the bottle, have to push it down too hard to loosen it. I tend to leave the lid set on it loosely after the first use. To me, this medicine works better when I take it before my meals.
