Negative
I am a router xy gastric bypass patient since 2006 so I am unsure if that is related to having side effect. But I experienced nausea for first day dose. Second day dose I had nausea for several, approximately 4 hours prior to vomiting side effect. I was instructed that I had to have a minimum of 350 calorie meal for proper effects. I took with food was directed both nights with my dinner.

Doing better
I have been controlled on divalproex for 2 years for Bipolar 1. I then had an acute episode and my psychiatrist added Latuda to my daily meds. I am have been on a low dose for 3 weeks now. I have been able to control my urges again and my poor decision making. I have contacted the makers of Latuda for assistance and they have given me a discount card to use. I see my docotr next week and hope to continue.

Works quickly and well
I have been taking Latuda 60 mg for a short time, but so far it is very effective at stabilizing mood and combating psychosis. Side effects: tiny bit of blurred vision and increased thirst.

Fast and works very well
I am a rapid cycler bipolar patient and because I sit on the fence between bipoalr 1 and 2 it is very difficult to keep my moods stable especially for any long period of time. I have been on lithium for ages, but now that I am getting older, perimenapause is kicking in, again we go through the major hormone changes and instability. My doctor wanted me to try an extra mood stabilizer in conjunction to the lithium. Hence....latuda. OH. MY. GOSH. I have never had a med for bipolar work this fast and believe me when I say i have tried most of the meds out there today. I have had ZERO side effects...well at least none that I wasnt having already with my other meds.....and my mood seems VERY stable. In the past week i have had NO rapid cycling. the most normal I have felt in AGES. I am very excited to see the long term use of this medication. Just do not forget to take it with 350 calories!!!

Seems to be workng well and fast
I was given Latuda for Bipolar Disorder. Began taking it Friday and began noticing enhanced mood by Saturday evening, without mania. I have, however, had a quite difficult time sleeping. Prior to beginning the drug, I was sleeping 16 to 20 hours a day. I took 20mg twice daily x 4 days, then began 40mg twice daily Feb.18. I slept last night from 2am to 10am. I feel ok right now.
