What is this Medicine?

METOCLOPRAMIDE (met oh kloe PRA mide) is used to treat the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) like heartburn. It is also used to treat people with slow emptying of the stomach and intestinal tract.

Alcohol and Metoclopramide Hydrochloride 10mg Tablet(Metoclopramide Hydrochloride)
Alcohol and Metoclopramide Hydrochloride(Metoclopramide Hydrochloride)
Metoclopramide (Reglan) can cause drowsiness. Avoid alcohol-containing drinks while taking metoclopramide. You may feel more drowsy or more tired if you have alcohol-containing drinks while taking Metoclopramide. Do not drive or operate machinery if you are drinking alcoholic beverages or taking medications containing alcohol.
Pregnancy & Lactation Information
FIRST Trimester

Class B - Animal studies have revealed no evidence of harm to the fetus, however, there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. OR Animal studies have shown an adverse effect, but adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus in any trimester.

SECOND Trimester

Class B - Animal studies have revealed no evidence of harm to the fetus, however, there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women.
