What is this Medicine?

NIACINAMIDE (nye a SIN a mide) is a vitamin B complex. It is used to prevent and treat vitamin B deficiency. This form of niacin will not change cholesterol levels.

Moderate Lifestyle Interaction
Alcohol and Niacinamide 100mg Tablet(Niacin)
Alcohol and Niacin (Vitamin B3)(Niacin)
Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages at the times you take Niacin, Niacinamide. Side effects such as skin flushing from Niacin may get worse when you drink Alcohol (also known as Ethanol) at the same time as your Niacin dose.
Moderate Lifestyle Interaction
Food and Niacinamide 100mg Tablet(Niacin)
Food and Niacin (Vitamin B3)(Niacin)
Avoid drinking hot beverages or eating hot food around the times you take Niacin. Ingesting hot food or beverages may worsen skin flushing (example: warm and reddened skin of the face, neck or chest) while taking Niacin. Alcoholic beverages may also have this effect, so also avoid drinking alcohol around the time of your Niacin dose. Taking Niacin with meals may help to decrease skin flushing.
