WITCH HAZEL (WICH hey zuhl) is a botanical astringent from the plant Hamamelis virginiana. The wipes and pads are used to relieve itching, burning, and irritation caused by hemorrhoids or bowel movements. They may also be used to clean the outer vaginal area after childbirth or the rectal area following rectal surgery.

-bleeding in the treated area
-an unusual or allergic reaction to witch hazel, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
How should I use this medicine?

This medicine is for external use only. Follow the directions on the package label or the advice of your doctor or health care professional. Do not use your medicine more often than directed.
Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. While this drug may be used for children as young as 12 years for selected conditions, precautions do apply.
Overdosage: If you think you've taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
What if I miss a dose?

This does not apply; the pads or wipes may be used as needed, up to 6 times per day.

Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F). Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
