What is this Medicine?

DIHYDROCODEINE; GUAIFENESIN; PSEUDOEPHEDRINE (dye hye droe KOE deen; gwye FEN e sin; soo doe e FED rin) is a cough suppressant, expectorant, and decongestant combination. It is used to treat cough and congestion. This medicine will not treat an infection.

Alcohol and Pancof EXP 7.5mg-100mg-15mg/5ml Syrup(Dihydrocodeine Bitartrate)
Alcohol and Dihydrocodeine Bitartrate(Dihydrocodeine Bitartrate)
Avoid alcohol-containing drinks while taking products that contain Dihydrocodeine. Side effects from the drug may get worse if you drink alcohol-containing drinks. Serious side effects such as excessive sedation, confusion, or coma may result if alcohol is taken with Dihydrocodeine.
Moderate Lifestyle Interaction
Caffeine-containing Foods/Beverages and Pancof EXP 7.5mg-100mg-15mg/5ml Syrup(Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride)
Caffeine-containing Foods/Beverages and Pseudoephedrine(Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride)
Limit caffeine intake (examples: coffee, teas, colas, chocolate and some herbal supplements) while taking Pseudoephedrine. Also avoid medicines containing additional Caffeine whenever possible. Side effects from Pseudoephedrine may get worse if you take excessive Caffeine. Taking a high amount of Caffeine can increase the risk of nausea, nervousness, palpitations, problems with sleep, rapid heartbeat, tremor, or other side effects.
Pregnancy & Lactation Information
FIRST Trimester

Class C - Animal studies have shown an adverse effect and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. OR No animal studies have been conducted and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women.

SECOND Trimester

Class C - Animal studies have shown an adverse effect and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. OR No animal studies have been conducted and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women.
