What is this Medicine?

CONJUGATED ESTROGENS; MEDROXYPROGESTERONE (CON ju gate ed ESS troe jenz; me DROX ee proe JES te rone) is used as hormone replacement in menopausal women who still have their uterus. This medicine helps to treat hot flashes and prevent osteoporosis (weak bones).

There may be no interaction. Do not significantly change your grapefruit intake while taking estrogens for hormone replacement therapy or as part of hormonal birth control products. Report any unusual side effects, like unusual non-menstrual vaginal bleeding, promptly for evaluation.
