What is this Medicine?

ETHIONAMIDE (e thye ON am ide) is an antibiotic. It is used to treat tuberculosis (TB). This medicine is used with other medicines and should never be used alone. It will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.

Alcohol and Trecator SC 250mg Tablet(Ethionamide)
Alcohol and Ethionamide(Ethionamide)
Avoid drinking Alcohol while taking Ethionamide. The use of Alcohol while taking Ethionamide may cause dizziness, drowsiness or mental confusion, or may increase the risk of Ethionamide-related side effects. If you develop fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, or abdominal pain, discuss these symptoms with your health care provider. Do not drive or operate machinery if you have been drinking Alcholic beverages.
Pregnancy & Lactation Information
