Alcohol and Ultane 100% Liquid for Inhalation(Sevoflurane)
Alcohol and Sevoflurane(Sevoflurane)
Sevoflurane is only used in a hospital or clinic during surgery to make you unconscious (sleep) during the procedure. Patients who drink alcohol-containing drinks on a regular basis may require higher doses of Sevoflurane and are at increased risk of developing severe liver side effects. Limit or avoid Alcoholic beverages before and after surgery. Discuss your drug regimen and alcohol drinking habits with your health care provider before any procedure or surgery.
Pregnancy & Lactation Information
FIRST Trimester

Class B - Animal studies have revealed no evidence of harm to the fetus, however, there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. OR Animal studies have shown an adverse effect, but adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus in any trimester.

SECOND Trimester
