What is this Medicine?

HERPES ZOSTER VIRUS VACCINE (HUR peez ZOS ter vahy ruhs vak SEEN) is a vaccine. It is used to prevent shingles in adults 50 years old and over. This vaccine is not used to treat shingles or nerve pain from shingles.

Storage Information
Unreconstituted product may be stored at refrigerator temperature (36-46 degrees F) for up to 72 continuous hours prior to reconstitution
May store unreconstituted product in the freezer at average temperature of -15 degrees F or colder
Protect from light
Store diluent separately at room temperature (68 to 77 degrees F) or in the refrigerator (36 to 46 degrees F)
