About Zyprexa
Sometimes Zyprexa is used in combination with other medicines to help relieve symptoms of bipolar disorder. These medicines include lithium and valproate. Symbyax® is a combination of the medicines Zyprexa and Prozac®, and it is given to patients whose depression has been resistant to other treatments. Be sure to let your doctor know how Zyprexa is working for you, so that he or she can make adjustments to your medicines if needed.

Take Zyprexa exactly as your doctor tells you to. Taking too much or too little Zyprexa can be risky. Never take two doses of Zyprexa to make up for a missed dose. Do not stop taking Zyprexa without talking with your doctor first, even if you feel fine. Stopping Zyprexa suddenly can cause dangerous side effects.
