Text Alerts and Pharmacy Emails
Setting up your text alerts and pharmacy emails
Sign up for text messaging to receive real-time text alerts about your prescriptions. These may include important prescription status alerts such as when prescriptions are ready for pick up, alerts regarding issues with a prescription (i.e. insurance, inventory, etc.), reminders when it's time to refill and more.
Sign up for refill reminder emails to receive emails when it's time to refill your prescriptions. Sign up for New Prescription Information emails to receive emails about any new medication you are taking.
To sign up online, you'll need to Add Prescription Management to your CVS.com account. Then sign in and go to the pharmacy home page or my account page and click on the Add/Update button for either Text Alerts, Refill Reminders or New Prescription Information. Or, if you prefer, speak with any pharmacy team member at your local CVS/pharmacy®.
Discontinuing text alerts and pharmacy emails
If you no longer wish to receive text alerts or pharmacy emails, sign in and go to the pharmacy home page of my account page. From there, click on Update Text Alerts, Refill Reminders or New Prescription Information to change your settings or stop these services.
