Who wants to make an appointment for a TB (tuberculosis) test? We provide convenient, walk-in TB testing for those required to have it for work or at increased risk of becoming infected.

What to know before your visit

Insurance is not accepted for this service and payment is due at time of visit.

Patients must return within 48 to 72 hours of the initial visit to have the tuberculin skin test (TST) assessed.

Patients with the following may be directed to another health care provider:

  • Compromised immune system
  • History of adverse reaction to TB testing
  • Previous positive skin test for TB
  • Measles, mumps, chicken pox or influenza in the past month

What to expect at your visit

Initial visit:

  1. Sign in at the electronic kiosk to see a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.* No appointment necessary.
  2. Your practitioner will review your history, verify eligibility for testing and administer the test on your forearm.

Return visit (48 to 72 hours following initial visit):

  1. Sign in at the electronic kiosk to see a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.* No appointment necessary.
  2. Your practitioner will assess the skin test and provide appropriate follow-up recommendations.
  3. At the end of your visit, your practitioner will provide you with a summary, a receipt and educational material.
  4. The summary of your visit can be sent to your primary care provider with your permission.
