CVS Finger Splint Deluxe Aluminum/Foam

Contains 2 splints - medium and large. No tape design - easy to use. Aluminum/foam padded for comfort. Adjustable Velcro strap for better fit to finger. Protects and promotes healing. Contains 2 Cot Splints: 1 medium, 1 large; 2 Velcro straps, 2 loop rectangles.

1. Cleanse finger and wound. 2. Stop any bleeding by applying direct pressure. 3. If wound is exposed, apply CVS Antibiotic Cream and cover with CVS Sterile Pad or CVS Tubular Gauze. 4. Remove splint from package and peel off protective plastic film. 5. Remove one Velcro loop portion form package and attach to metal side of splint. 6. Attach one end of Velcro strap perpendicular to loop rectangle on splint. 7. Gently mold splint to finger. 8. Wrap strap around splinted finger and fasten. Splint should feel snug, but not too tight. Strap should not be wrapped where it will put pressure directly on the knuckle. Strap can be removed and repositioned if necessary. 9. If redness, pain or swelling persists, consult a physician at once.
