CVS Multi-Purpose Solution

Cleans by loosening and removing accumulations of protein and other deposits. Continues to clean your lenses during disinfection and storage. Destroys harmful microorganisms (germs) on the surfaces of lenses. Is used to rinse and store your soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses. Is formulated for use in disinfection and storing lenses for up to 30 days after disinfection. No separate daily cleaner or saline solution is needed.

Sterile, Isotonic Solution That Contains: Boric Acid; Edetate Disodium; Polyoxyethylene Polyoxypropylene Block Copolymer With Ethylene Diamine; Sodium Borate and Sodium Chloride; Preserved With Polyaminopropyl Biguanide 0.00005%; Contains No Chlorhexidine or Thimerosal

To thoroughly clean and disinfect your lenses, you must complete each of the following steps every time you remove them. STEP 1: Place at least three drops of Multi-Purpose Solution on each side of the contact lens and rub for 20 seconds. No separate daily cleaner needed. STEP 2: Remove surface debris by rinsing thoroughly with Multi-Purpose Solution. STEP 3: Place cleaned contact lenses in lens case and fill with fresh Multi-Purpose Solution. SOAK FOR AT LEAST FOUR HOURS. Store your lenses in the unopened lens case until ready to wear, up to a maximum of 30 days. TO REMOVE PROTEIN FROM YOUR CONTACTS: Multi-Purpose Solution may be used to dissolve Enzymatic Cleaner Tablets. If Effervescent Enzymatic Cleaner is used, you must disinfect your lenses as a separate step. Follow directions provided with the enzymatic cleaner and use as directed by your eye care professional.
