Melting: Microwave: Melt 1 cup (6 oz) morsels in uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on High (100%) power for 1 minute; stir. Morsels may retain some of their original shape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just until morsels are melted. To melt 2 cups (12 oz) morsels, microwave a few seconds longer. In Saucepan: Melt morsels in small, heavy-duty saucepan over lowest possible heat. When morsels begin to melt, remove from heat; stir. Return to heat for a few seconds at a time, stirring just until morsels are melted. Immediately remove saucepan from heat once morsels are melted. For Dipped Fruit: Melt 1 tbsp vegetable shortening and 1 cup (6 oz) morsels as directed above.
