Grapefruit juice and Camptosar 40mg/2ml Solution for Injection (NOVAPLUS)(Irinotecan Hydrochloride)
Grapefruit juice and Irinotecan(Irinotecan Hydrochloride)
Do not take Irinotecan with Grapefruit Juice. If you notice new or worsening side effects such as fever or chills, sore throat, bruising, pinpoint red spots on the skin, unusual weakness or tiredness, diarrhea, difficulty breathing, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain and/or cramping, contact your health care provider immediately. Discuss any new or worsening side effects with your health care provider.
Pregnancy & Lactation Information
First Trimester

Class D - Adequate well-controlled or observational studies in pregnant women have demonstrated a risk to the fetus. However, the benefits of therapy may outweigh the potential risk. For example, the drug may be acceptable if needed in a life-threatening situation or serious disease for which safer drugs cannot be used or are ineffective.
