What is this Medicine?

TBO-FILGRASTIM (T B O fil GRA stim) is a granulocyte colony-stimulating factor that stimulates the growth of neutrophils, a type of white blood cell important in the body's fight against infection. It is used to reduce the incidence of fever and infection in patients with certain types of cancer who are receiving chemotherapy that affects the bone marrow.

Storage Information
Protect from light
Discard unused portion. Do not store for later use.
Product may be removed from 36 to 46 degrees F storage for a single period of up to 5 days between 73 to 81 degrees F; if not used within 5 days, product may be returned to 36 to 46 degrees F up to expiration date
Exposure to 23 to 30 degrees F for up to 72 hours and temperatures as low as 5 to -13 degrees F for up to 24 hours do not adversely affect stability
Refrigerate (between 36 and 46 degrees F)
Discard product if it contains particulate matter, is cloudy, or discolored
