What is this Medicine?
ONDANSETRON (on DAN se tron) is used to treat nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy. It is also used to prevent or treat nausea and vomiting after surgery.

Sometimes used for but not FDA approved for the following conditions:
Pruritus, Hyperemesis Gravidarum, Pregnancy-induced Nausea/vomiting, Post-operative Nausea/vomiting (PONV), Gastroenteritis, Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome
Protect from light
Store at controlled room temperature (between 68 and 77 degrees F)
Protect from freezing
Avoid excessive heat (above 104 degrees F)

Class B - Animal studies have revealed no evidence of harm to the fetus, however, there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women.
