Grapefruit juice and Samsca 15mg Tablet(Tolvaptan)
Grapefruit juice and Tolvaptan(Tolvaptan)
Do not take drink Grapefruit Juice or eat Grapefruit while taking Tolvaptan without talking to your health care provider. Grapefruit may increase blood levels of Tolvaptan and increase the side effects seen with Tolvaptan. Contact your health care provide immediately if you experience confusion, mood changes, trouble speaking, uncontrollable body movements, seizures, or changes in heartbeat (fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat).
Pregnancy & Lactation Information
First Trimester

Class C - Animal studies have shown an adverse effect and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. OR No animal studies have been conducted and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women.
