Grapefruit juice and Sutent 12.5mg Capsule(Sunitinib Malate)
Grapefruit juice and Sunitinib Malate(Sunitinib Malate)
Side effects from Sunitinib may get worse if you drink grapefruit juice. Do not significantly alter your intake of grapefruit juice or grapefruit while taking Sunitinib. Side effects such as skin reactions from Sunitinib may get worse if you are also drink grapefruit juice or eat food that contains grapefruit. If you notice new or worsening side effects, inform your health care provider. Discuss all medicines you are taking with your health care provider before beginning Sunitinib therapy. Your condition will be closely monitored while you receive Sunitinib.
Pregnancy & Lactation Information
FIRST Trimester

Class D - Adequate well-controlled or observational studies in pregnant women have demonstrated a risk to the fetus. However, the benefits of therapy may outweigh the potential risk. For example, the drug may be acceptable if needed in a life-threatening situation or serious disease for which safer drugs cannot be used or are ineffective.
