How This Drug Works
Corticosteriods
Corticosteroids provide anti-inflammatory relief by helping the body make proteins that decrease inflammatory chemical messengers and reduce symptoms like swelling, redness, pain and others.
"Corticosteroids provide anti-inflammatory relief for many different conditions and come in drug forms such as tablets, inhalers, eye-drops, and others.

The body normally responds to inflammation or cell damage by producing white blood cells and chemical messengers to fight an infection or repair damage. However, in some cases, the surge of all of these substances to a localized area of the body can cause symptoms of inflammation and damage to the bodyâ¬"s tissues.

Corticosteroids bind to steroid receptors inside cells and form a tightly joined group. When the steroid-receptor "group" is activated, it moves inside the cell's nucleus where it is able to control the cellâ¬"s ability to make proteins. The proteins that are made decrease inflammatory chemical messengers and reduce symptoms of inflammation like swelling, redness, pain and others."

Cleared up the skin issues but then........
It initially worked however I would have never used it because of the skin withdrawal coming off the steroid cream is AGONIZING. I broke out with literally eruptions every where I had applied it. Skin is peeling off in chunks. The swelling is unreal. I have been researching this and believe it or not it's common called RSS. Bottom line is that you have to just go through it. It's about a month and I have to go through it.

This cream is helping.
I'm 49 y/o male with diabetes. Using Triamcinolone on my lower legs, in conjunction with compression stockings. So far, the cream and stockings have greatly lessened the edema and discoloration in my lower legs. So, so far so good. Just hope I won''t have to continue this regimen.
