If you take sustained-release or extended-release tablets, swallow them whole. Never crush, break, or chew them.
Wellbutrin® is a medicine that belongs to a group of medicines called antidepressants. Doctors prescribe Wellbutrin to treat depression. Wellbutrin is a brand-name version of the generic medicine bupropion.

Wellbutrin comes as tablets taken by mouth. Your doctor will tell you how much Wellbutrin to take and when. The timing of your doses will depend on which type of Wellbutrin tablets your doctor has prescribed for you to take. Be sure to take Wellbutrin doses at regular intervals.
