Checking out as a guest

You're always welcome to purchase items as a guest.

If you plan to visit us again, we recommend taking a few minutes to create a CVS.com® account. It'll save you time in the long run:

  • We'll save your billing, shipping and ExtraCare® information for next time.
  • You'll be able to manage your ExtraCare® Savings & Rewards online.
  • When you add Prescription Management, you can manage your prescriptions online.

Checking out as an account holder

Sign in to your CVS.com® account so we can auto-populate saved shipping and billing information. If your ExtraCare® card is attached to your account, you'll see any rewards you've sent to your card and any coupons you might be eligible for.

Even if you check Remember Me, you'll need to be signed in to redeem certain offers and coupons at Checkout.


Earning ExtraBucks® Rewards on your purchases

You'll need to attach your ExtraCare® card to your CVS.com® account to earn rewards for online purchases.

Sign in to your CVS.com® account and go to the ExtraCare® box on the My Account Profile page. Click Link Your ExtraCare® Card to Your Account and follow the directions. Your ExtraCare® card must be active and have been scanned at least once in store before you can attach it.

Click Checkout when you're ready to purchase your items

You'll find the red Checkout button at the bottom of your Basket. Click on this button when you've completed your shopping and are ready to enter payment and shipping information. Click the Continue button after each step.

If you need to change or delete items in your order or revise your billing and shipping options, click either the Return to Shopping Cart or the Back button. To update your address, click on Edit Address or Select Other Address. To update your credit card information, click Add New Card or Edit Card.

When you're ready to place your order, click the Submit button.


Paying for your order

For online and phone nonprescription orders, we only accept U.S.-issued Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We honor debit cards that have a Visa or MasterCard symbol. The Card ID/CVV number is required to be entered for all orders placed on CVS.com®. We do not accept personal checks, pre-paid cards, PayPal cards.


Verifying your order information

The Verify Order page provides you the opportunity to review and modify your selections, change your billing and shipping preferences or cancel your order if needed. Complete your transaction by clicking the Submit button and proceed to the confirmation page, where you'll see your confirmation number. We'll also email your order confirmation number and receipt.


Order confirmation

Once you submit your order, a page will come up with your confirmation number on it, verifying that your order has been received and is being processed. You can print this page for your records. We'll email you an order confirmation. To check order status, visit the Orders Status & History section of My Account. We will not charge your credit card until your order has shipped.


Canceling your order

In an effort to offer you the best delivery times possible, we send order updates to our warehouse frequently. For this reason we are unable to cancel orders once they have been placed.

Please reject the shipment from the carrier to initiate the return process.
