Why get a flu shot?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) highly recommends getting your flu shot this fall not only to reduce your risk from flu but also to help conserve potentially scarce health care resources.*

Because influenza viruses are always changing, the flu vaccine is reviewed annually and updated, as needed, to keep up.

By getting your flu shot, you avoid exposing those around you, especially those who are unable to get the flu shot themselves.

Your immunity support destination.

Stay prepared this cold and flu season with immunity support products and more.

*FOR FLU SHOTS: Flu shots available when immunizing pharmacist or MinuteClinic health care provider is on duty. Age restrictions apply. Eligible patients will not pay any copayments unless otherwise required by their plan, including Medicare Part B. Back

*FOR FLU SHOT RECOMMENDATION: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Frequently asked influenza (flu) questions: 2020-2021 season. Updated July 28, 2020. Available at: https://www.cdc.gov/flu/season/faq-flu-season-2020-2021.htm. Accessed August 3, 2020. Back
