Size 6 Maxipad
This size 6 pad goes beyond Always size 5 Extra Heavy Overnight pad in that it has raised edges along the length to effect a better barrier at the edges of the pad. As well as being about an inch longer the size 6 also has a much wider back - on other pads the rear wings are for attachment purposes and do not contain absorbent material. The rear 'wings' on this contain substantial absorbent material. While this is marketed as a "Maxi" it is not an ultrathin but does seem to have less thickness than their regular maxipads. The only other pad as long as this is L's overnight Maxi but the thickness of that pad places it much closer to an ultrathin. These pads worked well. They are absorbent, soft, and if this is an issue for you, they are discrete owing to the fact that they are not super thick. I don't know that Always needed to make this product as the size 5 is pretty much the same thing except for the wider padded portion at the rear and the leak guard barriers which are borrowed from their 'Discrete' LBL pads. They are different market segments but if your period is that heavy you can pick up a package of Always Discrete pads. It pains me to mention it but it seems a lot of pad users don't seem to understand that even the best pad will leak of you are not wearing the right pair of undies. For pads, your underpants should fit you snugly - maybe wear a size or two smaller than your normal. Your panties should reliably hold that pad close to your body as you move. In my experience, undersized cheeky underwear works well for this. Avoid laser cut panties as they won't hold the outer edges of the pad into your bottom. Panties with a seam that runs from the back of the gusset to the middle back work well as they usually, when pulled tight, pull the middle of the pad into your butt crack, like how a thong works. Amazing love it!
I have been a plus size woman all my life with a heavy heavy flow. I’m so thankful ALWAYS finally came out with this product. Good coverage

Great full coverage pads
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pads are on the larger side but they are great for keeping EVERYTHING covered. No worry about accidental spills, this pad will catch it all. However, it drops trap sweat very easily and if you don't change it enough that constant wetness will cause some chafing.
