Used to use this years ago when I had short hair. It was the first thing I’d say whenever I’d get a compliment about my hair lol I’ve had long hair for years but recently cut it and thought “I know what product I need. ” The new formula is awful now. Unmatched strong hold and great matte texture with a clean, subtle citrus scent.
American Crew Fiber is an incredible product if you are looking for a strong hold with a classic matte finish. The subtle, citrusy scent is very clean and not overpowering at all. For the best application, the instructions on the jar are key, you really need to rub a small amount completely between your palms to warm it up before putting it in your hair. Fiber for the win
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had stopped using hair products for a few good years now as they always seem to leave my hair feeling sticky when you run your hands through it during the day. American crew fiber has fixed that I can run my hands through to fix my hair during the day without any sticky feeling on my hand. It does leave a little shine to my hair and I would have preferred it to be scentless those would be my two negative points but otherwise it provides a good enough hold without being like hair gel which leaves your hair looking like a rock. Good, not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has a matte finish with medium hold. It's easy to apply and does not leave the hair looking greasy, however I found that the hold this fiber offers does not live up to the high hold it states on the tub. Versatile product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been a fan of American crew do a while now, however fiber is my favourite hair product from their range. Firstly, it smells great. No chemicals or overbearing smells. Just a clean, barbershop vibe. Applying this product is easy. Mostly dry hair, 10p piece in hand which is warmed and then youre off. The only thing I find annoying is that sometimes you get white residue remaining in your hair or erroneous strands of hair that will just not comply. Longevity is great, even after a busy day at work the product will support whatever hairstyle, plus the bonus is that when you touch your hair you dont come away with a greasy hand.
