Allergic to something in this product
Makes my lips tingle and feel swollen for hours afterwards. Very disappointed. Not sure what ingredient in this product is causing the problem, but I'll have to throw it away. So disappointed
I am not sure why Banana Boat changed their ingredients in their chapstick, but tge new formula is awful. It is very glossy and doesn't stay on long at all. I have been using this chapstick for years and years, and now I am on the hunt for the old percentage of ingredients. Overpriced

1 Star (new formula) 5 Star (old formula)
Approximately 25 years ago, I tested many brands of lip sunscreen and picked BananaBoat because it worked great for preventing cold sores and it tasted good. I buy it in bulk because you never know when a product will be changed or removed from the market altogether. I just opened the first stick from my latest purchase. It tastes awful and it leaves a very bad, long-lasting, chemical-like aftertaste. So, I compared the 'active' and 'inactive' ingredient list against the old product (see photos). They are vastly different.
