The way you apply self-tanner depends on the type you chose. However, start by preparing your skin. Make sure it's clean, exfoliated and free of moisturizer.

• Avoid moisturizing, showering, swimming and working out for around 8 hours after applying your tanner 

• Limit shaving and waxing 

• Avoid exfoliating
