This used to be my absolute favorite B&J flavor with a toasted marshmallow base that had a richness and depth, but the most recent pint I bought just tasted.... plain. Like vanilla. Recipe change 🙁
I am so sad. This used to be my favorite Ben and Jerry’s flavor, I always had one stocked in my freezer. But they must have recently gone through a recipe change and largely gotten rid of the cookie and graham cracker swirls and it is all chocolate chunks - and way too many chocolate chunks. I thought maybe I gotten a bad batch but it has been the case for multiple pints. Why would you change a good thing
This used to be MY FAVORITE ice cream . I had an addiction and would eat it weekly my fridge was always stocked!!!! Idk what happened but the last two pints I ate were different! One the ice cream was white and not brown like normal and like the cover photo, there was NO GRAHM cracker! It was literally only chocolate chunks and white ice cream :-( I feel like boycotting this Why would u change something so goooood ?!?!?!?! Lying! No Graham swirls at all!
I’m with the rest of the other commenters . Why say there is graham cracker when there isn’t ? This was also the same with PB smore. I don’t get it .You might as well come up with another name besides s’mores. Because it doesn’t have any Graham whatsoever. I’m official done with Ben and Jerry’s . This was my last straw. I used to buy it twice a week . But they sold out like every other company it seems. Like every other food company this day and age, they’re not buying ingredients so they won’t lose money but still make the same profit as they used to. It’s sad. I’m going to start making my own icecream. If only I could figure out the recipe for the Graham swirl . If they would make a icecream that just has the Graham swirl in it , I would buy it . But I’m done being lied to if they list it as a secondary ingredient on the title. Because it’s never in there or skimpy. Like the strawberry cheesecake. Completely changed for the worse.
This formula has been changed. No graham cracker or cookie swirls. Very boring vanilla/maselloe with chocolate chunks. NOT what smores has been over the past several years. I also love the graham cracker swirls, it’s like crunchy and stays that way even if you open it and leave it in the fridge as multiple portions.
