Meets expectationsOut of 5Stay away- bad test and worse customer service
My husband was feeling sick this morning, so I ordered this Covid test testing kit. As soon as the test was delivered, my husband took the test. He followed the instructions to a T., I mean, come on it's not rocket science. The first test came up invalid because the flow didn't even flow halfway. So he opened up the second testing kit and took that test. Again, the test did not flow and it came up invalid. In the instructions, it says that the line beside the C is supposed to show or the test is invalid and didn't work. As you can see in the photos, the flow never went to the C. I called customer service. The representative was from another country and it was very hard to understand his accent. It took us about five minutes for him to provide the email address for me to send the photos to because he could not clearly say his letters. He asked me multiple personal questions about my home address my phone number my email my name, and then went onto ask questions about how we took the test like we were idiots. Finally after a 10 minute phone call, he said he will send another test in the mail. I said I did not want another test in the mail because first how can I be sure that the test will even work, secondly, my husband is sick now and needs to know if he has Covid now instead of days later because you can't test for Covid after four days, and that I just wanted a refund. The representative really just dismissed all of my concerns and said that all he can do is send me another test in the mail. He said it is company policy to not issue refunds. This is absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from this company and their test. I feel like it's a scam to get your money.6 months agoHi Dalynnda! You might have to test twice.
I developed a fever and started to feel lousy 2 days after attending a New Years Day celebration. I felt like I had the flu and tested using the Binex Covid/ flu at-home test. The test is very simple to use but it would be helpful if more guidance were given on how soon after the onset of symptoms the test is most accurate. I tested negative on the 2nd day after onset. Inaccurate! Delayed me getting proper treatment
I was very ill, so I bought one of these tests from CVS. Ran the test exactly as instructions said to do (fyi I am an RN) and the results came back NEGATIVE. The very next morning, I still felt very ill. So I went to an urgent care clinic, was retested, and I tested POSITIVE for the flu at the clinic! This test kit from CVS is completely inaccurate! All it did was delay me getting proper treatment for the flu!! $22 I spent on this garbage test kit… total waste of money. This kit needs to be taken off the shelf! Do not buy! Waste of money
Followed instructions and the sample doesn’t even travel half way up the test strip after waiting fifteen minutes for both of the tests in the box. So many other reviews with this same complaint. Not an Accurate Test
I felt under the weather after waking on Thanksgiving morning with coughing, a sore throat and general body aches but with no fever. Fearing Covid, I took this test which resulted in a negative diagnosis for Covid or influenza. Went to the closest Access Medical who used a different multi-test which resulted in a positive influenza A detected. After returning home and before taking any of my prescribed medications, I tried taking another Binax test which again resulted in a negative result. The Covid/flu test for me
