You changed something. NOT the same.
You guys changed things. THIS product I have been using for decades. It is now junk. Flat hair, no volume. weighted and unable to style. Not sure what you did but it was a bad decision. Volume boost. It used to be creamy now it's clear and does not rinse clear and clean. DONE.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on biolage.com - classelady35Reviewed 1 month ago
I don't like the new formula.
They changed the formula. It is not creamy or as conditioning any more. It dries my hair out and does not hold the curl as well. Why change something that works so well? Please change it back or I will have to find a new line to use My.hair tangles more and is weighted down with this new formula. Yuck!{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on biolage.com - DyanReviewed 6 months ago
Threw it out!
Why is Isopropyl Alcohol in high end Biolage Volume Boost Conditioner??? Shame on them! I can spend a LOT LESS for this!Reply from Biolage6 months agoWe understand your concern regarding the ingredients in your hair care. At Biolage, we prioritize a balance between nature and science to ensure our formulas deliver the professional results you expect while maintaining the health of your hair. In the Volume Bloom Conditioner, Isopropyl Alcohol is not used as a primary ingredient to dry out the hair. Instead, it is often part of a "functional blend." It typically serves as a solvent for other key conditioning agents—like Behentrimonium Chloride—allowing them to mix properly into the formula so they can effectively detangle and soften your hair without weighing down fine strands. Because it is used in a specific, controlled concentration, it evaporates during the application or rinsing process, leaving behind the beneficial ingredients that provide volume and shine. We value your feedback and your commitment to ingredient transparency. If you have more questions about our formulations, we would be happy to chat with you further at 877-254-9949 (M-F 9:00 am – 5:00 pm ET).Regards,Consumer Care Center{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on biolage.com - At a lossReviewed 1 year ago
Reformulated with silicone
Quite possibly the worst reformulation I have ever seen. It's full of microplastics and silicone. The front of the bottle now says "polymers." No one wants polymers! It used to give my hair so much bounce but now soy protein is much further down on the list. Silicone is the 3rd ingredient, meaning the original formula's conditioning (behentrimonium), slip-forming (starch acetate), and volumizing ingredients (protein) are further down.. lost a years-long customer.Reply from Biolage1 year agoHi there, Thanks for your feedback on Volume Boost Conditoner. We appreciate your loyalty to Biolage. Silicones offer unique benefits like shine/softness in hair care. They're safe, non-comedogenic when used appropriately, and don't negatively impact scalp health. To identify silicones in our products, look at the ingredients list on the packaging. They can be found under names such as DIMETHICONE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, PHENYL TRIMETHICONE, AMODIMETHICONE, and CYCLOMETHICONE. The L'Oréal Group, which includes Biolage upholds rigorous safety standards globally, and all products are thoroughly tested. While our packaging has been updated for sustainability, our formulas remain unchanged. We'll be sure to share your feedback with the appropriate team.Regards,Consumer Care Center{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on biolage.com - NanaLIsaReviewed 1 year ago

Not my favorite.
My experience using this product gave me my hair falling out in clump. I hated this. And I dislike the fragrance! I have used Matrix products throughout the years and have loved the products. But this product is not a good choice for me. My hair is long, fine and natural color. Very disappointing to know that this product and its cost has left me disappointed.Reply from Biolage1 year agoHi there. Ingredients incorrect!
Ingredient list does not match what is being sold in stores. Contains Amodimethicone as the 3rd ingredient! With fine hair I don't want silicones weighing down my hair and curl pattern. Totally false advertising. The date code on my bottle says it was manufactured 2 months ago, so it's not old stock. Please update your ingredient list so people can buy something else.Reply from Biolage2 years agoHello there, thanks for reaching out about the VOLUME BLOOM Conditioner.
