I have been a loyal Biolage Volume Boost Shampoo user for years. Recently, I noticed not only that the color of the shampoo changed, but the performance changed as well. My hair no longer has the volume, body, and lift it used to have. It feels like the formula has been changed, and unfortunately the results are not the same. I am very disappointed because this was my favorite shampoo. If this is the new formula, I may have to find another product that gives my hair the volume I used to get from Biolage.Reply from Biolage2 months agoIt is incredibly frustrating when a holy-grail product changes, and your observation is spot-on. Honest review from a non matrix stylist
Hairstylist Here- I work in a Kevin Murphy salon. We do not sell Biolage but I keep Biolage Volume Boost in my at home rotation. Does it add volume- no. Id call it a light moisture product. Does not strip my color like biolage full rescue. Nice scent, rich lather. Feels as though it could contain some silicone like ingredients.But i'm no chemist so I can't say for sure. Rebranded
Devastated because I used to use Volume Bloom all the time because I’m allergic to coco-betaine. Now I see the rebranded it and added that in and now I can’t use it. Please consider taking the coco-betaine out ! It's really nice but I don't see volume
I was a huge fan of full density. I bought this hoping it was the replacement for the full density product line. It is a huge disappointment while it is very nice shampoo. Biolage Volume Bloom Shampoo
If volume is what you want then this is the shampoo you need to get. The volume it gives you is incredible. I have tried so many shampoos/conditioners and never got volume like what I got from this shampoo. I didn’t try the conditioner yet I used the Ouai conditioner I already had for fine hair. It smells wonderful but did absolutely nothing for my hair. If anything, it made it more frizzy than it usually is. Nothing special
It works like any other shampoo. It cleans my hair. I don't see anything special about it. However, you could change the fragrance.
