I just bought more of the ointment after running out that I use daily all over my body, including sensitive areas. I noticed it was different when I opened the jar and the formula is sticky and tacky and does not glide even warming it in my fingers does not produce the same result as the old formula. I never understand why companies have to improve on things that have been working for so many people for so long. I want to return this product but I can’t because I opened it and used it. Now will search for an alternative. It would be nice to offer the old AND new formulas instead of forcing customers to use the new when it worked so well when other things didn’t.Reply from CeraVe2 weeks agoHello Mandy! "improved" aka ruined
I am not someone that normally writes reviews but as someone that has loved and sworn by this product and used it every day for years the "new and improved" formula is awful. it is immediately obvious that the formula has changed because it is significantly sticker than it was and even just at a glance is shinier. it used to feel luxurious and hydrating but not as greasy as aquaphor or vaseline and now it had been completely ruined. extremely disappointed and now looking for alternatives. don't "fix" what isn't broken. hope you get it together at the company because changing a proven product to be worse in every way isn't a good sign for whatever products they decide to "improve" bestReply from CeraVe2 weeks agoHello there! New one doesn’t work
The new one is NOT improved at all. Got this new one for after my laser resurfacing procedure it irritated my skin a little and felt so tacky. Good for psoriasis and eczema

Don't like new one

Why a New Formula?
