You have aiways had a wonderful product that I have used for years but this new formula is awful! Greasy, sticky, doesn’t absorb. I don’t understand why you had to change a great thing. Disappointed in reformulation
Very disappointed with the reformulation. The old product was the only solution to my dry lips that didn’t leave them feeling more dry after absorption. I ordered a new one when I ran out and it was this new formula. When I used it it felt stickier on my lips than the old one. And once it absorbed after a while, it left my lips feeling even drier. New formulation is damaging to skin
New formulation is irritating. New and improved means "cheaper to manufacture", probably. I won't be buying this product again unless the formulation is changed back. Also, the website hasn't even been updated with the new ingredients, so you don't find out you're getting a different formulation until it arrives at your house. Great for eczema and dry , sensitive.
I used this ointment daily for my son who has eczema and it really helps keep his skin moisturized and protected. It’s thick but it works very well to lock in moisture, especially on dry or irritated areas. I like that it’s fragrance free and gentle on sensitive skin. Great for cracked skin

Not new / improved
I just bought more of the ointment after running out that I use daily all over my body, including sensitive areas. I noticed it was different when I opened the jar and the formula is sticky and tacky and does not glide even warming it in my fingers does not produce the same result as the old formula. I never understand why companies have to improve on things that have been working for so many people for so long. I want to return this product but I can’t because I opened it and used it. Now will search for an alternative. It would be nice to offer the old AND new formulas instead of forcing customers to use the new when it worked so well when other things didn’t.Reply from CeraVe3 weeks agoHello Mandy! "improved" aka ruined
I am not someone that normally writes reviews but as someone that has loved and sworn by this product and used it every day for years the "new and improved" formula is awful. it is immediately obvious that the formula has changed because it is significantly sticker than it was and even just at a glance is shinier. it used to feel luxurious and hydrating but not as greasy as aquaphor or vaseline and now it had been completely ruined. extremely disappointed and now looking for alternatives. don't "fix" what isn't broken. hope you get it together at the company because changing a proven product to be worse in every way isn't a good sign for whatever products they decide to "improve" bestReply from CeraVe3 weeks agoHello there! New one doesn’t work
The new one is NOT improved at all. Got this new one for after my laser resurfacing procedure it irritated my skin a little and felt so tacky.
