I have mixed feelings about this product because it worked incredibly well for one issue but not for another. I bought it to help with the rough, bumpy skin (keratosis pilaris) on the backs of my arms and outer thighs, and within a short time I noticed a huge improvement. My skin became much smoother, and I was really impressed with how well it worked. Unfortunately, I also used it on my underarms and groin, assuming it was a body wash that was safe to use everywhere. After a few days, I developed a very painful, burning rash in my underarm that required a visit to my doctor and prescription treatment. I can’t say with certainty that the body wash alone caused it, but after stopping it on those sensitive areas and switching to a gentle cleanser, my skin improved significantly. My advice is: this product is fantastic for thicker skin like the arms and thighs, but I would avoid using it on delicate skin folds such as the underarms and groin. I wish the packaging had made that clearer. I will continue using it on my keratosis pilaris because it truly works. I just won’t be using it everywhereReply from CeraVe2 months agoHello Tracerfx! Great for "chicken skin"
This stuff is amazing for bumpy chicken skin! I used this and the SA lotion after and it makes my skin so much softer. Can be a bit harsh on more sensitive areas or non problem areas so be mindful. Fades KP scars and makes your skin soft!
Regular body wash feels great especially the ones with exfoliation beads but this product will get a deeper clean. This helped with keratosis pillaris (kp) and faded the scars on my arms. The texture is very soft and does not leave a residue. The consistency is nice and lathers well. It leaves your skin very very smooth. A must have
As someone with very sensitive skin I found this product really really helped and it lowered my bumpy skin on my arms. And it's really great value for money.
