I have been using this for 20 years. For a girl who struggles with oily skin, this was always my go to and trusted product to keep my skin matte without being cakey. With the recent formula change, my usual color makes my skin look chalky and pale, and more importantly I’m ridiculously oily after 30 minutes of it being on. What has happened???
I have been using this powder for 20 years. Flawless. Holy grail of pressed powders. I bought 2 the other week and i figured it was a bad batch, so I purchased another. I work in a kitchen and by the end of the day my face was a shiny mess. The old formula would leave my skin beautiful from the beginning of the day to end. This is horrible . NO LONGER THE SAME CLEAN MATTE POWDER
I have used clean matte pressed powder for years and now I am soooo disappointed with the formula change. It took me about 2 weeks to finally realize it was the powder making my face shine more and my pores more noticeable. So much for being a matte finish and looking flawless with my pores screaming can you see me, can you see me. Why change something when it's not broken, now it's broken. Unfortunately, I will have to go through the process of finding another matte powder that works. Please bring back the older product!!!!!Reply from Erin4 days agoHello. New Formula Disappointing
I have been using this powder for almost 30 years - flawless and loved it - it was a five star. Recently I learned that they changed the formula. I thought it was a bad batch - but no - it is the new one. The powder is horrible, doesn't work like a face powder, and is a waste of money. I will need to look for a new brand of powder. I am not sure how this passed testing when you reformulated it, but this is absolutely disappointing. I bought three on sale and now I have three powders I cannot use. Changed powder
They changed the formula and now it’s shimmery. I used this for years and loved and now I have to find a new matte powder. This one looks cakey and shimmery and highlights my pores. New Formula is Terrible!
I have used this product for 20 years, and I am so disappointed in the change in formula. The new product is so shiny, does NOT control oil (in fact, it makes my skin 10x more oily), highlights every fine line and wrinkle, and easily ages my face 10 years. I will be looking for a different brand outside of Cover Girl. It used to match my skin tone, keep oil under control, and cover blemishes, and now it does none of that. Shade is not the same
I bought shade 535- Medium Light over a month ago and it is not the same. I have the previous one I bought, and they are not the same shade. The recent one is a lot darker than the prior one. Even though they are "the same shade" which they are not. Not sure if you changed the formula but please bring back the original shade, I bought the 3 shades below it but in the Clean Invisible and they are all too light.Reply from Erin1 week agoHi there! Changed.Not the same
I have been using the pressed powder for years. The formula must have changed. It does not go on as smooth and is far too shiny. It seems to have some sort of glittery highlighter in it.
