Crayola Markers, crayons and non staining ink

Dear Crayola, I have purchased your markers throughout the years for school supplies and art projects at home. I remember reading somewhere that The New York City Radio City Music Hall Rockets would use your red (and probably pink)markers as lip color because of its ability to stay put on lips. Has Crayola considered a lip marker line. If I was at a show I’d be interested in talking home a souvenir of lip color endorsed by The Radio City Rockets. What I liked about this idea is that Crayola markers were safe enough for kids and Radio City Music Hall Rocket line dancers to use. I like Crayola markers and crayons and glue for back to school supplies and to keep at home for kid projects and creations.I have taken your art kits on air planes for my child to open on the airplane. This helped keep her busy coloring with non staining invisible ink markers on that special paper that reacts to the markers which seem colorless but appear on the paper included with the kit. I have always found it exciting and a joy to open up a brand new box of crayons or markers as a child and parent. Thanks for making a safe good quality product.

Thank you so much for your delightful review and for being a loyal Crayola fan! We love hearing how our products have been part of your family’s creative moments—from school projects to airplane adventures with Color Wonder kits. It’s always heartwarming to know our art supplies bring joy to both kids and parents alike. We also appreciate your curiosity about using Crayola Markers as lip color. While we’re flattered by the creativity, we do want to share that our markers are designed specifically for use on paper and other craft surfaces—not for skin or lips. They’re safe when used as intended, but they haven’t been tested or approved for cosmetic use. That said, you might be excited to know that Crayola has partnered with Clinique to create a line of lip products inspired by our iconic colors! The Clinique Crayola Chubby Sticks for Lips combine playful color with the trusted quality of a leading cosmetics brand. For more details, you can contact Clinique directly at 877-311-3883. We hope Crayola products continue to be a part of your creative journey. Have a colorful day!
    Regards,
    Colorful Care Team

Hi, Bella. Thank you for taking the time to write this review for Crayola Broad Line Markers. We appreciate the opportunity to not only answer your question, but to provide some tips to help remove the unwanted marks. Crayola makes marker products in both a washable and non-washable formula. Our markers that are formulated to wash clean from most launder clothing and skin will state washable or Ultra-Clean Washable on the package. The set of markers you referenced are not a washable formula. We are sorry for the frustration you experienced with the markers not cleaning up as you expected. As stated on product packaging, Crayola Markers contains colorants that may stain. We would like to share cleaning tips suggested by our Research & Development team. While our suggestion for fabric has been successfully tested, we are unable to guarantee the stain will be completely removed. Please test the suggestion below in an inconspicuous area first to ensure you are pleased with the results on your surface. We hope this helps! - Chris, Colorful Care Team Crayola Markers on launderable fabric: Rinse stain from the fabric with cold water until no more color is being removed. Place fabric on paper towels and saturate with rubbing alcohol using a cotton ball to blot the stain. Replace the paper towels as often as needed. Wash in hot water with laundry detergent and bleach for colored clothing and rinse in warm water. Crayola Markers on skin: Wash skin with soap and warm water. If you are unsuccessful, try using baby wipes, baby oil or make-up remover. Since Crayola markers are water based, the stain will fade after repeated skin washing.
