Crest Scoop damages gums and oral mucosa
I tried Crest complete+Scoop some years ago but I had to return the product because it was so harsh on my oral mucosa and gums. I was under impression that Crest toothpastes are better than others. I recently bought the same toothpaste thinking it might have improved the issues but it didn’t. My dentist suggested me to discontinue using it. Wondering why they can’t just make it less harsh (less whitening bleach) so that it doesn’t damage the gums and oral mucosa. Also, the tube itself is not conveniently designed for sitting upright like other brands.Reply from crest.com4 months agoWe're so sorry you've experienced irritation to your gums and esophagus when using Crest toothpaste, Alam. Please know that all our products are thoroughly evaluated to be safe when used as directed. However, some people may have personal sensitivities to a particular ingredient or formulation. We recommend following your dentist's advice to discontinue use, and we hope you're feeling better soon. Our Crest Team would like to gather a few details of your experience to further assist you, and ask that you please give us a call at 1-800-492-7378 from 9AM -- 6PM EST Monday – Friday.Regards,Customer Care{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on crest.com - Barb TReviewed 10 months ago
More air than toothpaste.
Why does the tube now contain more air than toothpaste? It never used to be that way! I'm considering changing to another brand. Very disappointing! Last 4 have been this way.Reply from crest.com10 months agoThank you for taking the time to reach out, Barb. While it may seem that the tubes are not completely full, we'd like to reassure you that our products are filled by weight to ensure that they contain the correct amount of product. The main reason for the air pockets is that the product is filled into the tube via the open crimped end, which needs to be sealed afterward. The airspace ensures that the product is not in contact with the crimp during this sealing process. If you have further questions or concerns, we'd be happy to help further and invite you to give us a call at (800) 492-7378Regards,Customer Care{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on crest.com - noaponReviewed 1 year ago
no unnecessary bad stuff in it please
I wish the tooth paste companies stop using artificial colors and saccharin. These are carcinogens and it makes mew hesitate to use this paste I otherwise like.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on crest.com - PM34Reviewed 1 year ago
No more flip top, go back to the screw on top
Crest is the only toothpaste I buy but why did you change the packaging? It’s difficult to get the past out of the flip top. Bring back the old screw on cap, less waste, the flip top makes it dry out too fast.{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on crest.com - Reviewed 1 year ago
Terrible
Recently bought tube of crest with the new plastic tube. After a couple weeks, they both have split wide open along the seam making them quite messy and pretty much useless{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on crest.com - Disappointed9876Reviewed 2 years ago
Not kosher, halal, vegan, or vegetarian
I loved this until I found out the glycerin was sourced from pork! Why do animals need to die to make toothpaste?Reply from crest.com2 years agoWe appreciate you taking the time to share this with us. We'll be sure to pass your thoughts along to the appropriate team. The product does not contain any animal by-products and contains only vegetable or synthetic raw materials. The product is not certified kosher as the manufacturing process has not been officially approved by the Rabbinic Society.Regards,Customer Care{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on crest.com - sadwithnewtoothpasteReviewed 2 years ago
Why would you destroy a fabulous toothpaste?
full of water, 3 ounces smaller, and no stripe. I’ve been searching everywhere for the original with the stripe with baking soda and peroxide. The tubes use to be 8.2 ounces and now they are 5.6. It’s full of water too. A tube that use to last a month now lasts 2 weeks. I’ve been using this for 20 years and now I have to find a new brand.Reply from crest.com2 years agoWe're so sorry to hear your recent tube of our Crest Complete Whitening + Scope was watery and missing the gel stripes, and would like to help. Please know, there are many quality checks in place to help ensure only the best products reach you. We haven't made any recent changes to the formula of this version, so it's unexpected for you to have this experience. So that we can help you further, please give us a call at (800) 492-7378.Regards,Customer Care{{userCount} users found this review helpful.Originally posted on crest.com
